Every Homoeopathic Doctor Registered with the National Council for Homoeopathy can become Member of Pakistan Homoeopathic Doctors Association after filling the membership form of the association by providing two photographs and copy of his registration. A membership card is also issued to the members of the association.

All member of the association are provided with the information regarding professional activities in and outside country. They can participate in the lecture programmes, workshops, Seminars arranged at Tehsil/District and national level to update their professional knowledge. The membership of association helps in social contacts and friendly relationship between the members of same profession and share their knowledge with each other by discussing different problems in the meetings arranged at different levels.

The general membership of the association is free.

Why PHDA Is Established For?

This institution is developed for the welfare of Homoeopathy and Homoeopathic Doctors in Pakistan.

Pakistan Homoeopathic Association work for the welfare of homoeopathic doctors and promotion of homoeopathic system of medicines in the country & set up medical centers and camps at different places of the country for providing medical care and treatment to the needy persons.

Secondly, we take all steps and measures to protect public from contageous diseases & measure generally and particularly required for setting educational institutions, hospitals, medical centres etc, to benefit the greater number of public in health and in other connected social problems. PHDA also set up drug abuse control centres for treatment of addicts in different parts of the country & establish libraries, dispensaries, hospitals (both in door and out door) as may be required for the achievement of the objects of the Association. We also publish literature and books etc for the promotion of homoeopathy in the country & hold conferences, lectures, discussions, Seminars for public awareness and to raise standard of homoeopathic teaching and training.

In Pakistan the Homoeopathic System of Medicines was recognized through an act of Parliament known as UAH Act 1965 to regulate the qualification and provide for the registration of Unani Ayurvedsc and Homoeopathic practitioners. The Pakistan Homoeopathic Doctors Association is a representative body of Homoeopathic Doctors of the country and duly registered at Islamabad on 2nd June, 1996.
